Opportunity for an Associate/ Senior Associate to join the high-ranking Employment law team of a leading international law firm based in their offices in Edinburgh. 

Overview:

Role Profile:

  • The role will involve working with Scottish clients, and those across the UK, range from start-ups to emerging multinationals and some of the biggest and best-known global brands in the world.
  • The team work with clients locally, internationally and across borders and their global reach and local knowledge means that they can partner with clients to drive consistency, deliver cost savings and help them identify and manage their priorities and risk across multiple locations.
  •  You will assist clients with acquisitions, outsourcings, expansions or reductions-in-force, local or international employee relations, data protection, local, cross-border or collective litigation, compliance, and risk management issues.

 Candidate Requirements:

  • You will have a background specialising in Employment law gained working with a leading Scottish, UK or International firm.
  • Commercially astute and stay current on key legal, employment and business updated. 
  • Excellent skills in communication, client relations, and team-working.
  • Ability to work flexibly to tight deadlines within our fast moving environment.
