Civil & Commercial Litigation Lawyer - Edinburgh

Excellent new role for a litigator to join a highly-respected national law firm with a growing presence in the Scottish market with this role being based in their offices in Edinburgh city centre. 

Role Profile: 

• The role will involve running a mixed caseload of civil and commercial litigated and non-litigated cases and you will be responsible for providing effective legal advice to a range of clients. 
• Responsibilities will include managing your own caseload of files using our case management system, ensuring compliance with insurer clients’ service level agreements.  
• The role involves extensive communication with insurers, clients and third parties, using our in-house case management system to manage your caseload.
• You will need to work in a proactive manner to settle cases in accordance with key performance indicators.

Candidate Requirements:

• You will ideally have experience in dealing with property disputes, property damage, contractual disputes and landlord and tenant disputes.
• The successful candidate will have a proven track record of dealing with civil and commercial litigated and non-litigated cases with circa 3 years PQE or equivalent.
• The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and targets are all pre-requisites.
• The successful candidate will be a team player and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have strong organisational and time management skills.
