Unique opportunity for a Commercial/ IP lawyer to join a market leading IP firm, assisting them in the development of this Irish practice. This role can be remote-working or based anywhere in Ireland.

Role Profile:

Recognised as a leading firm in the Legal 500, Briffa is one of the most experienced and successful intellectual property firms in the UK.
In 2021 the firm opened our Irish office and is now looking to recruit a new solicitor to join the practice.
The firm works with businesses on all aspects of their intellectual property, helping them solve the legal problems they face- Businesses that rely on their innovation and ingenuity to bring new products to market need their IP lawyers to bring their own creativity and enthusiasm to work.
The team advise a large and diverse client base on the full range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters.- As I an example, you will work with businesses in fashion, food, product design, media, technology, gaming, advertising, and much more.

Candidate Requirements:

If you are commercially aware, ambitious and driven, the firm will offer you a fantastic opportunity to develop quickly into a fully-fledged specialist IP lawyer with your own reputation and style.
Your experience to date will ideally demonstrate your ability to deal with the management and enforcement of intellectual property rights in a range of sectors. However significant IP experience is not a pre-requisite and a background in commercial law is likely to be beneficial.
You will be confident and professional, with a pragmatic and entrepreneurial approach to your work.
You will be passionate about achieving the best results for clients.
You will be a strong team player, you will also be keen to become actively involved in business development and the growth of the business.
