Corporate NQ Lawyer - Glasgow

Leading international law firm are looking to hire a newly qualified (NQ) lawyer to join their highly-regarded team based in Glasgow. 

Overview:

The Corporate law team work with clients at the forefront of their strategic development advising on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, flotations, takeovers, buy-ins and buyouts, joint ventures and investments.  The team's detailed knowledge and close working relationships with other professionals enables them to achieve the right structure for deals and to bring together appropriate funders and entrepreneurial investors.

The Corporate team specialise in the following areas:

• M&A
• Corporate Finance 
• Private Equity
• AIM
• Joint Ventures

The Corporate team also undertake cross border work and recently have undertaken deals in Germany, Holland, South Africa, United States, Poland, France, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and Italy. They also have a strong private equity practice operating as part of a national team advising a range of private equity institutions and management teams. Additionally, the team has extensive experience of advising on public takeovers,; flotations/initial public offerings; secondary issues including rights issues, placings and open offers; private placements; corporate governance; compliance with companies, securities and financial services legislation.

Candidate Requirements:

• The successful candidate will be at the NQ-2 years PQE range and have at least a 6 month seat in corporate or corporate finance as a minimum. 
• Candidates must be technically excellent and commercially aware with a strong client focussed approach.
