Exceptional opportunity for a lawyer to join the Employment & Benefits team of a top tier Irish law firm, based in their HQ offices in Dublin.

The role will involve advising on employment law and on the specialist areas of pensions, corporate immigration and employee incentives. The position will focus on employment issues in commercial transactions and employment litigation. Clients include both private and publicly held companies and the role will offer the opportunity to work on:

  • Employment legal aspects of corporate transactions and re-structurings.
  • TUPE law.
  • Employment claims before the Workplace Relations Commission, the Labour Court and the Civil Courts.
  • Corporate Immigration.
  • Executive employment contracts and severance agreements.
  • Employment issues for financially regulated companies.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Circa 2-4 years experience in employment law work- exposure to corporate transactions would be advantageous.
  • An excellent academic background.
  • High level of commercial awareness.
  • Strong technical and drafting ability.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure that deadlines are consistently met.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and show a high level of initiative.
