Excellent new in-house position for Regulatory Lawyer to join a leading global energy company- this role will be based in Glasgow.
- Working as part of a dynamic Regulatory Legal team, you will be working on important and high profile regulatory legal matters. You will be responsible for leading, influencing and managing, under the co-ordination of the Legal Director, legal support in respect of all relevant regulatory matters.
- You will ensure that all regulatory legal risk is managed, mitigated and reported appropriately, including in respect of any relevant regulatory or competition law investigations, regulatory appeals or other legal challenges and advise on all regulatory legal issues including responses to Government and consultations.
- This role will entail regular contact and building working relationships with senior managers across the business on some of the most significant matters affecting energy security and decarbonisation at this pivotal moment for the UK.
Candidate Requirements:
- Ideally you will have 2+ PQE and with experience of regulatory, public and/or competition law. Experience with in the energy sector would be beneficial but not essential.
