Intellectual Property & Technology Lawyer 2+ PQE - Glasgow

Exciting new role for a lawyer with circa 2-3 years PQE to join the Intellectual Property & Technology team of a highly respected commercial firm in Scotland. This role will be based in Glasgow.

Role Profile:

The successful candidate will be involved in working on commercial contracts and a range of intellectual property activities including:

• Trademarks,
• Patents,
• Copyright,
• Domain names,
• Data protection and
• Freedom of information.

The businesses that the candidate will work with range across almost all industry sectors and in size range from start-up to international. The type of work is broad-ranging, stimulating and often innovative.The successful candidate will also be involved in the preparation and delivery of training to clients and in networking activities generally.

Candidate Requirements:

• A sound background in intellectual property, technology or commercial contract work.
• In addition to being able to demonstrate relevant legal expertise, the successful candidate will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Candidates will have to be able to juggle a busy and varied workload, have an enthusiastic approach to work and enjoy working in a team environment.
