Managing Associate- Corporate - Edinburgh

Exciting new role for a Managing Associate level Corporate Lawyer to join the highly success Corporate team of a leading UK and International law firm- this role can be based in any of their Scottish offices which include: Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. 

Role Profile:
The Corporate Team is spread across offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow- the corporate team in Scotland has over 20 lawyers which includes 8 Partners. You will also working closely with Corporate colleagues in Leeds, London and Manchester as well as additional international offices. The Corporate team provides a full-service offering which includes transactional experience across the UK which includes:

• High-value domestic and cross-border M&A
• Private equity (including venture capital) transactions
• Corporate Finance
• Equity Capital Markets
• Joint ventures
• Fund formation
• Corporate structuring.

The practice has great breadth, acting for clients from a wide variety of sectors, such as oil and gas, real estate, metals, technology and manufacturing. The team advises on the full range of both transactional and non-transactional corporate work and works with a wide range of UK and international clients.   

Candidate Requirements:

• The firm are interested in speaking with experienced Corporate Lawyers who are seeking the next step or next challenge in their career.
• You should have gained at least five years' experience in a corporate transactional role in order to have gained the range of skills and expertise required for the position.
• This experience should ideally have been gained in a major national, international, City or equivalent firm but applicants from other background sill be considered if they can demonstrate the required level of corporate transactional experience. 
• In addition to this you should be able to demonstrate you are able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, challenging environment, where you will be required to meet tight deadlines.
