Leading international law firm are currently looking to recruit an additional lawyer with circa 4+ years PQE to join the Firm's global energy transaction team, based in Singapore. The primary focus of the role in the short term would be in the oil and gas industry but with a developing aspect around power and renewables.

Role Profile:

The firm are widely recognised as one of the leading providers of legal services to the oil and gas industry covering the entire oil and gas value chain both in the UK and overseas. Similarly, the firm is well recognised in the power and renewables market in the UK and Europe and that practice is now developing in Asia Pacific. The global Oil & Gas team carries out a wide range of work including advising oil majors and independents along with service companies in the energy/ oil & gas market.

Candidates Requirements:

The firm are interested in speaking with UK/ Scottish qualified lawyers who are interested in making a career move to Asia.
You should ideally have broad transactional experience in the energy sector with direct hands-on experience in work in the oil and gas industry.
The nature of that work and the point in the ‘value chain’ can be varied but accompanied by an awareness of broader aspects.
Energy and enthusiasm for transactional work is required, ability to work independently and linking with other offices, and to supervise and mentor less experienced team members.
You will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills and be comfortable with remote working relationships.
