Senior Associate- Construction & Projects - Edinburgh

Leading top-tier Scottish law firm is looking hire a Senior Associate or Associate to join their high-ranking, highly successful Construction and Projects team- this role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Role Profile:

• You will have the opportunity to be involved in high-quality cases, working with our top-clients. The role will involve:drafting, review and negotiation of forward funding agreements, building contracts, appointments, collateral warranties, bonds, guarantees etc.
• The work involved will also include drafting, review and negotiation of construction aspects of development agreements, agreements for lease and facility agreements. You will also assist on projects work on a project-by-project basis.
• There will be scope for career progression within this role.

Candidate Requirements:

• You will ideally have circa 4-8 years PQE and a background in non-contentious construction or projects. 
• You must have a passion for non-contentious, construction work and be pragmatic and results-focussed with the ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales. We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude, a focus on quality and a determination to provide first-class service.
