Transactional Construction Lawyer NQ- 2 PQE - Edinburgh

Top tier international law firm are looking to recruit a junior lawyer to join their highly respected transactional construction team based in Edinburgh (candidates looking to be Glasgow based are also invited to apply). The firm are interested in speaking with candidates at NQ-2 PQE level. 

You will join a large, Tier 1 practice group which contains highly skilled, experienced and motivated construction lawyers sitting within the firm's wider Projects team. The team works alongside colleagues from the firm's other UK offices and with our international teams to ensure each lawyer's exposure to some of the most exciting projects across the globe. The firm has an unrivalled reputation in acting for employers, developers, funders, project companies, contractors, consultants and insurers and acts for over half of the UK's top 50 contractors, a large number of the top contractors worldwide and an impressive range of private and public sector clients. The team of transactional construction lawyers act across the sectors including energy (nuclear, renewables, conventional and oil and gas), infrastructure, real estate, waste, education, transport and health. 

Candidate Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong grounding in transactional construction work in energy, infrastructure and/or property related transactional construction work. Candidates must be technically excellent but, equally importantly, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. They will be a team player with a strong client focussed approach. They will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.
