Thomson Legal was founded by David Thomson, a veteran and leading expert in the legal recruitment markets in Scotland and Ireland. Having worked internationally and with a network of global clients, the aim of Thomson Legal is to help candidates with their career moves both domestically and internationally. After graduating in Law from University of Glasgow, David moved into legal recruitment in 2000, initially working with respected legal recruitment specialists, Mahlab in Sydney, Australia.
After returning and working in the UK and Ireland, he has built up the reputation of being an expert in his field working in senior positions with global recruitment companies including Taylor Root, Hays Legal and Hudson.
Thomson Legal was established in 2014, and is regards as a market leader in the legal recruitment sector. We provides strategic advice and recruitment assistance to major international law firms and FTSE 100 companies and work with market leaders in the UK, Ireland, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, Offshore and Asia Pacific and the US. We also have track record in designing innovative recruitment and social media advertising campaigns for clients both domestically and internationally.
When not working, enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
David also likes a game of golf- it's his 'happy place'. He is a member of Prestwick St Nicholas Golf Club which was founded in 1851.
